Product Overview
API 5DP/SY standard oil drill pipe is produced by certified partner factories. This product is specifically designed for petroleum drilling, natural gas extraction and deep geotechnical engineering projects requiring high-strength, high-reliability drill string components.
The pipe body is made from premium steel sourced from reputable steel mills. The inner-upset ends are connected by friction welding — a solid-phase welding process that achieves defect-free, high-strength welds. Each drill pipe undergoes automatic testing and complete traceability records, including mechanical property tests, non-destructive testing (NDT), and dimensional inspection, with complete Material Test Certificates (MTC/Factory Inspection Certificates) provided with shipment.
Tool joints undergo precision quench and temper heat treatment, with thread surfaces protected by specialized coatings or phosphating to prevent thread damage and ensure reliable make-up and break-out cycles throughout the drill pipe's service life.
