Friction Welding
Friction Welding Drill Pipe (DTH)
Inner-upset friction welding drill pipe, quenching+nitriding treatment, suitable for rock drilling, anchor drilling, geothermal drilling and water well projects
Product Overview
Friction welding drill pipe (also called DTH drill pipe or flat-body drill pipe) is produced by certified partner factories. This product is mainly used for rock drilling, anchor drilling, geothermal drilling and water well drilling projects.
The tube body uses quality materials from well-known domestic steel enterprises. The inner-upset ends are processed by precise friction welding, followed by overall post-weld tempering treatment to eliminate welding stress and improve mechanical properties. The couplings are rough-machined then quenched and tempered, finally precision-machined with nitrided surface treatment — effectively preventing thread sticking, thread breakage and OD burst.
All threads are precisely machined on imported CNC lathes using forming tools and inspected with international standard thread gauges, ensuring stable and reliable quality and longer service life.
Core Advantages
